Read moreWhy does everything have to be in a Discord server these days? /u/DunkeyBlast No such thing as stupid questions
As an oldhead from the bygone days of message boards and forums, trying to interact with communities and fandoms these days has gotten so hard with everything migrating to Discord servers. I feel like I’ve only just gotten used to Reddit, but more and more now I’m running into situations where communities are migrating or have migrated to Discord servers.
Want to ask a question? Don’t make a post on the subreddit, join the Discord! Want to get in touch with with the community? The stickied thread hasn’t been touched in three months, so get in the Discord! It’s just kind of tiring.
A lot of the time I just have like one question or I want to share one thought, but you can’t do that anywhere else but the Discord, which almost always has tons of users and an entire onboarding process and a bot that announces your arrival to God and everybody when you show up for the first time. And then what, I ask my one question or put forth my one topic for discussion, then… either mute the server until I want to interact with it again 6+ months from now, or exit the server entirely now that I’m finished? It’s just so involved and implies so much investment for people like me who would rather be passive members of communities except for the once or twice a year something related crosses our minds.

Given how popular baseball is on the USA, and given how popular college sports are, why isn’t college baseball a big deal? /u/vorpal8 No such thing as stupid questions

Why Do I Start To Smell Like Whoever I’m Sleeping With? /u/kittytoy69 No such thing as stupid questions
When I was younger I swore that the smell of my sweat and my discharge would start to smell like the BO of my partner. I wrote it off as me imagining it but I’m finally sexually active again after many years and I immediately notice it again. I’m still convinced I’m imagining it but is there SOMETHING that might make this true?
None of my encounters have ever resulted in any STIs, yeast infections, etc.
Edit: This has persisted 3 days after seeing them last (in which I have showered four times)
