Do you routinely use a “gas glove”? /u/Lyndzay No such thing as stupid questions

When I go to the warehouse club’s gas station I’ve noticed that more than a few people will pull a glove out of their door or somewhere in the car for their hand that pumps the gas.

I’ve never used a glove and I pumped gas at a full service station back in the 80s

Am I just oblivious to the hazards of pumping gas?
