​r/skyrim So I just started playing Skyrim and I don’t know the full story. Literally at the VERY beginning. When the dragon comes, it gives you the choice to go with the imperial, or the prisoner (storm cloak?). Why would anyone go with the imperial when just 2 minutes before they were trying to chop off your head? When I first loaded up I picked Breton because I thought it meant British which I am and ever since I have been Breton around 90% of my playthrough’s and also in the little I have played in other Elder Scrolls games. I’ve learnt a lot more about the lore since then and still like the Breton’s most. What about you guys, if you can only pick one race to be for the rest of your Elder Scrolls playthrough’s who are you picking?
