New weapon testing /u/Indublibable Monster Hunter: World

After (Finally) beating nergigante, I felt it was time to switch up my weapon, I’d been maining the IG for a majority of my playthrough. The IG was like love at first sight big pogo stick good for stabbing, slicing, and poking, I also didn’t find out till much later the uses of the kinsect, which made it so much better. I decided to switch to longsword and that was a massive difference as it didn’t have the mobility I was looking for and seemed to focus more on timing and being in the right place at the right time. Since I’m a “headfirst” kinda guy I upgraded my sword and went to fight the deviljho, BIG FUCKING MISTAKE, being in the air kinda removes some of the challenge of being absolutely crushed by 90% of the deviljho moves, had to rely heavily on YouTube demonstrations and tips videos to even do a little damage to it.

Anyway I have to ask how people usually go about testing and getting good at a new weapon, I feel like I’m kinda hitting a wall here.

I hate Barioth /u/1ruehater Monster Hunter: World

This is such a toxic boss to fight with Greatsword. I could not land a single TCS. And this mf spams that “hmmmmm” side bash attack. I kid you not at one point in the fight he did that 10 times in a row, 10 fucking times back to back to back.

I have beaten him already and i did it with the greatsword and he didn’t cart me once, its just frustrating to fight and he finally made me abandon quest, go back to smithy to get MR gear and the Paolumu greatsword for sleep. After that i focused on clutch claw and wrecked him in 20 mins. But holy shit all those 65 mins were miserable. This is one boss i really do not want to fight ever again.

All he does is hmmmm, hmmmmm, hmmmmm, hmmmmm, what a pos. And he either runs away constantly or moves immediately so that your attack can’t hit a weak spot.

On a side note, do you guys think i should try dual blades? I absolutely love GS in all MH games, but i dont want to use the same tactic everywhere and fighting the leshen i realised sword and shield ain’t bad but i would like a bit more damage. So whats a good fast hitting and decent damage option? Bow is not an option coz it fucks with my controls

What to charge a company? /u/elias00a CSCQ protests reddit

I have to start of saying sorry if this kind of question is not allowed.

I am working at a small job in the industry branch. I graduated from web programming university earlier this year so I am a junior web-programer.

We are around 10-20 workers and I have been asked to implement a web-system for them during my spare time.

  • The system includes user/login system.
  • CRUD on orders, three specific packets which each order is made of.
  • An overview over their whole stock and where each item exists.
  • Keeping logs and show them for specific users.
  • Be able to download each order as a .pdf.
  • Using websockets for showing updates without refreshing site for other users.

Might have missed something, but mostly this.

What should I charge a company for this kind of a system? I was thinking of monthly payment but do not know what is best (lump or monthly).

I will keep and pay the domain, hosting and database. And if they want edits/updates etc. I will be doing them.

This is in Sweden in a smaller city if it matters.

AT&T SWE TDP round 2 /u/octopusairplane CSCQ protests reddit

round 1 interviewer told me that the technical interview would be a “case study” that was open ended.

What should I expect?? I am used to only leetcode style technical interviews. I have no idea what they would ask.

I refused to adapt to workplace changes and got fired /u/japan_noob CSCQ protests reddit

I’ve been at this company for 4 years now and it started off for the first 3 years as fully remote. Then for the 4th year, my boss hired this extremely corpro-bro manager. This was the downfall of everything.

Things started changing.. the laid back, get-your-work-done workplace became very strict with more constant meetings and micro-managing. I couldn’t stand it from the start and I KNEW from the start of the year things were going to get worst but I still hoped for the best.

It’s important to note that I pretty much refused to return going back to the office after returning and going for 2 months. We’re a small team and I was the only person who didn’t go. Call me stubborn but I always got my work done and went above and beyond with delivery while keeping the quality of work high as I did for the past 4 years.

As the year got closer to the end, I started hearing more complaints about my performance or communication not being “top” “notch” even though I haven’t changed anything other than refusing to return to work and staying remote.

The new corpro-bro started creating the dumbest excuses about me regarding my work performance. Everytime I had a meeting with him, I kept it just as fake as he does. His “I really like you and working with you” bullshit gets me everytime. God, I’m honestly glad I don’t have to every hear this guys voice again.

I know he’s probably super happy that I am finally fired because we’ve disliked each-other from the start but he’s in a higher position.

So now, i’m unemployed in a shit job market, with very limited funds because I had to not only take care of my own adult life but pay for my struggling family as well (which I was glad to do).

I fortunately have my resume and portfolio up to date but now I need to find a job within the next 3 months or else I lose my home and I probably have to sell my car. I refuse to lose it all but I will try my best.

Either-way to anyone being loyal to a company, the moral of the story is you better adapt or get the boot.

Thanks for reading 🙂

Somehow caught all 3 Shiny Galar Birds!!!

I normally have pretty bad shiny luck. Yet somehow, as of yesterday, I found & caught the last one I needed (Moltres). When these shiny forms were released I went super hard to find one. Spent a TON of stardust and Dialga candy, but all 3 of these were caught when I just did the base 15min. daily incense. So even though I wasted all those resources for nothing, I’m still EXTREMELY happy 😊 I just wanted to share because it made my day.
