What are the activities that keep you in the game? /u/TheSmilingHusk World of Warcraft

I started playing WoW during Wrath of the Lich King. Since then, I have played the game on and off and completed almost all the main content except Dragonflight (which I have skipped entirely). I recently decided to return to Azeroth as I kept seeing people saying that WoW “was back.”

However, after barely three weeks of playing, I don’t find anything specific interesting enough to justify renewing my subscription. I have reached “end-game” content with four different characters, and after a while, I get bored and start leveling a new alt. It was the first time I grew so quickly bored with the latest expansion. I feel that M+ and raiding are the only things to do. Still, even that seems a bit boring compared to previous expansions (I used to love doing M+ back in Legion, one of my favorite expansions).

I do not understand things going on, like the new profession mechanics (I guess this was a Dragonflight alteration) or why Blizzard abandoned Archeology (I used to enjoy traveling around collecting parts to restore artifacts). I might miss content not explicitly related to M+ or raiding, but that adds to the game’s universe (like unlocking artifacts’ skins in Legion or completing covenant’s activities).

This post is not a rant about the game (I enjoyed the campaign) or an attempt to criticize its current state. I want to understand what content keeps you returning to WoW regularly, as I have an emotional connection to this game but am currently feeling lost.

Just make the Warfronts swap each week, since it is instanced content. And have the opposite world area respective to the weeks rotation for each faction side.

It is really annoying that I have to wait almost an entire week for an (by now) automated Contribution system to reach 100% so I have like 2 days time to play said Wafront before the weekly reset happens and I may miss out on a weekly quest reward for the old transmogs due to IRL responsibilities like work and such.

It shouldn’t be so hard to go back into the BfA code and make the instanced content including the weekly quest switch each weekly reset by now as same as the patrol zones.

Week Patrol Zone Warfront Controlled Patrol Zone Attacked Warfront Zone
1 Alliance Horde Darkshore Arathi Highlands
2 Horde Alliance Arathi Highlands Darkshore
3 Alliance Horde Darkshore Arathi Highlands
4 Horde Alliance Arathi Highlands Darkshore
etc. etc. etc. etc. etc.

It’s not that hard.

Azj-Kahet WQ tip – Unassuming Delivery Spider /u/Behnken1 World of Warcraft

Azj-Kahet WQ tip – Unassuming Delivery Spider /u/Behnken1 World of Warcraft

There is the daily quest “Unassuming Delivery Spider” that pops up in the city.

The building that has the turn in zone, there is a rectangular chest just to the left (looking at the door). After picking it up, enter flight form (druid) or mount your Skyriding mount for quick movement.

If you practice, you’ll be able to fly right through the door and deliver nearly instantly. Also, with that chest awwarding 45%, you only have to do three times.

What is your weirdest moment you have encountered in wow? /u/Kalle2508 World of Warcraft

I go first: We had a priest in a dungeon who insisted on stopping before every pull to “recite a poem” about the mobs we were about to fight. At first, it was funny, but by the third poem, we were all just waiting for him to hurry up. Eventually, we started singing along with him because why not? It turned into an odd little performance in the middle of a dungeon.
