“You look lonely..”

It seems like there are a lot of people who like to share good vibes and reveries in this sub. I wanted to share this picture of my demon hunter relaxing in Ardenweald while finishing up my last final for the semester. I enjoy listening to a specific song/music video loop when studying or taking a night drive. The video includes scenes from the newer Blade Runner movie, I enjoy the emotions that come from them.

Location: Ardenweald, where the giant mushrooms are all located. Song: Memory Reboot by Vøj & Narvent

Dear M+ Community, /u/itsmaerc World of Warcraft

There’s hardly a day where I don’t come across posts like: “M+ needs to be easier,” or “We can’t find tanks or healers,” or “30-minute wait times just to find a group.” Blah blah blah…

I’ve been playing as a healer since Shadowlands. About four weeks ago, I hit 3.1k rio and stopped pushing since then. Why? Because even for my last few +14 keys, I could barely find groups—and when I did, they only wanted a Discipline Priest. Sure, if I spent more time looking or ran my own keys, I’d find groups, but at 3.1k+ Rio with PUGs, I’m satisfied. I’d rather focus on bringing my other characters up to that level.

It does bother me, though, that the tank and healer meta boils down to just one viable spec each. I personally play Druid and Shaman as healers.

Now to the real reason I’m writing this post:

This is just my opinion, but maybe some of you will relate. The problem isn’t just that people fail to use their defensive cooldowns properly—although that’s part of it. What annoys me most, especially in keys +12 and below, is a complete lack of utility usage.

Let’s assume I’m building a group for Grim Batol with my Evoker alt. My gear isn’t amazing—I have terrible trinkets and an ilvl of around 615—but that’s more than enough for a +10 key. I’ll intentionally invite at least one player with a curse dispel because it’s useful. Yet what happens? No one dispels.

The lava in Grim Batol could rise, dragons could fall from the sky, and people just don’t care. The utility just isn’t used. Sure, I can brute-force heal through it, but why? And if other issues pile up, please just click your damn dispel, it helps.

Same goes for the affixe that require a dispel. In low keys, I’d sometimes rather let the boss heal himself than waste time healing it. I’m not your babysitter. Step up, contribute to the group. This isn’t a solo game.

One more example: the poison DoT in ARAK. Imagine having five poisons affecting the group, and not one of the three Paladins in the party steps up to use their dispel. It’s beyond frustrating.

If you’re in a burst phase, fine—nuke away. But once your cooldowns are spent and the pack is still alive, dispel.

We see your cooldowns—not just your defensives. We can see your cooldowns, not just your defensives—and when you use them. (at least, I do).

Conclusion:

Healing only becomes frustrating when people treat M+ like solo content.

For me, the best feeling is when I notice things like: “Oh, nice! That dispel was fast!” or “The mage popped Mass Barrier because they saw I was out of cooldowns and something went wrong.”

When a group works together and players pay even a little attention to each other, M+ is incredibly fun—at least from a healer’s perspective.

In my opinion, the tank and healer shortage isn’t because the role is too hard. It’s because people don’t play as a team. Everyone’s just doing their own thing. Dont hate my – its my opinion and i just wanted to share- thanks for reading

Edit: This post is more focused on keys +12 and below.

Delves are easier solo /u/peacemaker333444 World of Warcraft

Besides the clickbait; It’s been my experience

For context: 1. I started a month ago 2. Stepped into gold making 3. I was 14 when legion released

This has been the first expansion I’ve taken endgame seriously and I’ve been rolling a disc priest which I’ve fallen in love with.

I’m still learning the ropes, but delves have been my go-to for gearing up my character (607 ilvl) and whenever I try to do it in a group it’s been the worst experience.

The output from brann, dominate mind and my own damage, I’ve become a self sufficient shadow priest with 2 tanks / 2.5 dps.

The survivable / control I have is far more valuable than unbalanced scaling.

I get blamed, because people think they can out tank an entire room while I’m smashing of keyboard and mouse trying to maximize my healing. Also soothe mind is obsolete in groups who crave pulling anything standing, which is beyond irritating..

I know this is the average experience for a healer joining random groups and having people to play with would help a lot, but I’ve yet to find people / join a guild.

That’s all, I enjoy the delves solo and it’s fun getting creative, but it’s sad missing out on the little social interaction I have in this game.
