​r/wow After chatting in discord during a pug we realized we lived in the same area. Dude invited me out for a drink. Thought it was weird, but whatever. I was already going to be out. I warned him that I had to do a Santa appearance for a friends kids birthday. He said who cares! I’ll dress up as an elf! It will be a riot! In walks this dude into wetherspoon, and I shit you not, he fucking didn’t wear his elf costume when he said he loved Christmas cosplay. After a few drinks (dude was hammered), he took the longest nastiest shit in the bathroom. I went in to check on him and immediately left. After that he was so drunk I basically had to hug him to keep him up. Finally we called him an Uber and got fake elf boy out of here. With all the posts about customization, I think appearances need an overhaul and redesign like talents got in DF. /u/SgrtTeddyBear World of Warcraft

​r/wow In another post, it was discussed that in order to add all the highly requested changes to characters like upright forsaken, would take extensive builds of rigs. This could require extensive dev hours and resources. And apparently Blizzard has been reusing older rigs for playable races since MOP. Honestly, this isn’t a patch update fix anymore. It needs a full rework like they did in WOD but more. I think each race needs at least as many options as nelves. Give the players what they want – upright models, tails, etc. Dig into racial abilities. Streamline allied races. I think you can also expand and bring back the glyph systems for further customizations. Create advanced customizationd and appearances that you can get in drops, achievements, and quests like they did for Legion artifacts. I know it’s a lot hence an expansion level feature but if Blizzard keeps asking for subs and gilded brutasaurs, they can afford updating customizations once every decade. submitted by /u/SgrtTeddyBear [link] [comments]
