Its just too annoying when you do a kick and then its wasted because someone kicked 0.1 a second before you. No amount of skill can avoid that.

I think a good trade off is to give them a longer overall CD, but a much shorter CD if they don’t interrupt anything. So if a kick has a 25 CD, make it 35 seconds, and if it doesn’t interrupt anything, make it 10 seconds.

Edit: maybe change this only for PVP. Skills already have different uses in PVP, I dont see why this would be any different.

Anyone else miss having to use ground mounts sometimes? /u/ghostboyfields World of Warcraft

Playing SOD, I find myself so much more immersed in the world when I’m not skyriding across the continent all the time.

Everything just feels so much more grounded in classic, even if I miss a lot of the QOL and design approaches from retail.

Really, I think retail is the better game, but classic immerses me in a way retail hasn’t in a very long time. The former feels like DnD, the latter feels like a sprint to cap out level and gear and keys.

Consider this essay for further reading if this resonates with you as well. I discovered it a while ago, and it touches me deeply as someone who started playing as a kid in BC. https://www.wired.com/story/world-of-warcraft-escape-memorial/

Started playing yesterday, absolutely loving it /u/osrsslay World of Warcraft

Started playing yesterday, absolutely loving it /u/osrsslay World of Warcraft

Don’t know why I haven’t fully tried this game sooner. The art style and the locations look amazing, and having fun with combat so far.

I’ve just been doing loads of quests/campaign, and don’t really know what I’m fully doing, but it’s fun!

Any advice/tips? Do I just keep progressing through campaign first?

Also I found a place with portals that look like you can go to previous expansions? And I’m guessing the latest expansion you still have to buy and isn’t included in the subscription?

But yeah, really fun game, with looking like there’s lots to do!
