Who first installed Steam after buying the Half-Life collection PC game box? /u/igmyeongui Steam on Reddit

I remember being shocked that I had to install Steam and enter my CD keys in order to play. I didn’t understand the point of having a game launcher. Never would have I believed that one day most of my games would be in this launcher and that could connect to a Steam Deck. Hey man in 20 years there’ll be a giant gameboy which will play your pc games but the battery life will suck! From all the companies out there that are enshitifying, I’m glad to say Steam is still one of the best platform out there.

I just joined a family in which most of the games are mine. if I own a game and someone else playing my copy do I get priority? if I start that game will it kick the other person off and let me play?
