Shows xbox controller input while using a ps4 controller /u/I_Moonlight_Shadow_I Steam on Reddit

I used to have the ps4 symbols showing while playing a game now suddenly it has changed to an Xbox controller. I get confused so it’s taking the fun out of playing. Is there a way to change it back?

One example is farming simulator, I’ve played many hours with an ps4 controller without having this problem.

Really as the title suggests. I resize and open all the overlay windows I like, position them nicely. Some time later or on the next reboot they are all tiny and bunched up in the top left and some I have selected no longer are.

Not a huge deal as it’s a multi-monitor rig, but sometimes it easier to open the overlay than break the mouse out of a fullscreen game. Some games make this easier than others.

Any ideas appreciated 🙂

Thank you

Activating Game on Steam /u/Suitable-Hour8428 Steam on Reddit

Hey Everyone,

I made a 2D platformer in PyGame and want to activate it on Steam. I’m trying to use PyInstaller to create the .exe files but have encountered many issues. What’s everyone’s go-to strategy for converting their games into executables? Or should I keep trying to make it work with PyInstaller? Thanks

Steam family share /u/Mitsukake Steam on Reddit

So with the roll out of the newly vamped family share feature it has left me with a question. Does DLC carry over or does it get disabled while active original owner is on? Scenario: Have a family member I live with that has bought a game same as me. Thing is they bought the bundle featuring the DLC that I lack. Do I gain access to that DLC while they are on the same game?

Buy games for Family Library. /u/Adorable-Bass-7742 Steam on Reddit

Hey Steam, I would like to make the suggestion that you can buy games specifically for your family Library. As in multiple copies. I don’t want to have to wait for my brother to accept a game I gift him. And when his kids grow up and he makes his own steam family, I want the games to stay with me and my kids. In this suggestion the games would technically belong to the Head member of the family, but they’re listed as multiple copies in the steam family Library. This way if my brother decides he doesn’t want to play the games I get him, I can keep them and have my sisters use them, or as my own kids grow up, they can play with them.

I’m sure this base idea can be improved upon. But it would be excellent as a start.
