How many of you have unexpectedly changed your character build over time in the same playthrough? /u/TheRealDirtyDan88 The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

For context, I started my Nord barbarian with intention of only being such. My character’s major skills are:

One handed Block Two handed Evasion (I use Requiem so Light Armor for vanilla players) Smithing

And although I technically still have that, as I’ve progressed, I’ve become almost more of a witch hunter build. I’ve added the following skills to my build:

Marksman Sneak (minor) Speech (better deals in shops since I’ll need the extra potions and salts) Enchanting (minor)

And my gear has become mostly tailored to fighting undead. I acquired:

Dawnbreaker (cuz no sh*t) Shield of Solitude (good light armor rating and magic absorption) Wuuthrad (since I’ll come across Falmer almost as often as vampires, skeletons and draugr) Dawnguard light armor set Zephyr (I had a Dawnguard crossbow but Zephr draws and fires much faster) Silver and various explosive arrows

So I guess my base build is still there, but my Nord build has definitely evolved over time. I’m curious to know how other players’ characters have changed.

Isran And Whole Dawnguard Was Useless /u/AretooDtoo The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Isran And Whole Dawnguard Was Useless /u/AretooDtoo The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

As I played Skyrim again I realized Dawnguard does literally nothing worthy other than sending you a cave that you will find Serena. Isran wants you to find two doucebag friends that he said he didn’t need them before. And quess what? We don’t see them again. We go to soul cairn, we find the scroll, we finish the snow elf issue. But then I don’t know why, game wants you to talk with Isran before facing Harkon. Just because Isran won’t talk to a vampire I had to go morthal to cure vampirism. Game literally gives you 0 flexibility finish the quest.

Edit: some of you guys said we can see them on raid to the castle. But their impact is near to nothing. And Isran doesn’t even have the courage to face Harkon. they literally left us die alone.

Help me Serana is scared /u/Mistou0014 The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

How can I fix Serana she’s scared of everything, everytime I get in a fight she goes invisible and says things like “Leave me alone”. I have Serana add on (mod), I dont know if that’s the reason. I tried hitting her so she goes down and get back up but didn’t work, I travelled and waited a bunch to see if she would reset but it’s not working, anyone has a idea to help me fix her, thanks.
