CMV: Electric wheelchairs shouldn’t be allowed to go faster than walking speed /u/thepostmanpat Singapore

Some people on these are quite reckless on pedestrian lanes, driving at speeds faster than someone on a bike and somehow think they’re the king of the world or have the priority.

If other electric vehicles such as electric bikes need a license plate, then so should these: https://onemotoring.lta.gov.sg/content/onemotoring/home/buying/vehicle-types-and-registrations/PAB.html

Almost got knocked over by one once, and at the speed it was going, would have been pretty bad.

There’s no reason why they should get an exemption, especially at the speeds some of these go.
