Curious about our fruits and vegetables /u/Latter-Yam-2115 Singapore

I have a couple of observations and would appreciate any insights on them!

  • The fruits and vegetables when refrigerated survive here for weeks. How does that happen?
  • Fruits here often taste extremely and almost disturbingly perfect and sweet. Any idea why is this the case?

Thank you

No more Paylah cash back /u/Material-Judge-6126 Singapore

Woke up early hoping to utilise the weekly $3 paylah cash back on Saturdays and discovered the promotion is over. It was good while it lasted, helped to cut back on cost and also encouraged many senior folks to come on board the journey of cashless payment.

Delivery scam /u/Sun_Ship Singapore

Delivery scam /u/Sun_Ship Singapore

A delivery person came to my front door with a parcel that had a family member’s name and our home address on it. The invoice sticker on the parcel stated that it’s payment on delivery and we had to hand over cash to collect the parcel. Family member says that they didn’t order anything and we figured that it’s a scam so we refused to pay and asked the delivery guy to return the parcel.

Has anyone encountered this before? And would it warrant making a police report since they have our name and home address?
