Ideal CV/Resume length? /u/Stunning-Grand5420 Singapore

Hello HR and hiring managers of Singapore! I have a dilemma – my peers in the same market and other roles insist that my CV must be no longer than one-page.

They insist that the older 3-4 page is outdated and will be ignored by recruiters and hiring staff because it’s too much to read or screen, and is not clean to read. (Btw, my CV grew to 4-5 pages from the various jobs I’ve worked, over the last decade.

It actually took me a few days to summarise and condense my CV into one page.

However, my seniors insist that one-page CV’s look like I have no experience, and don’t allow me to go into details about my expertise and skill-set.

As a hiring-party, which version do you prefer?
