The Raw damage is inviting but It’s pretty dull with only blue sharpness not to mention that I had to farm Urugaan to get his Legendary Jaw ( and I hate fighting this thing).

I’m just about to fight Velkhana the second time

Returning player, when should I start iceborne? /u/WheelyMan260 Monster Hunter: World

Played a lot at release but never tried iceborne. Just got a steam deck and have been playing loads, about to finish the main campaign and own but haven’t tried iceborne.

I’ve heard master rank is a thing which is a shame for me as I love the armour I’ve got and the idea of starting over again in a new rank is a bit intimidating.

Only HR 14 rn, when do people think I should start iceborne and any tips/things to look forward to?Thanks 🙂

Wyvernsnipe vs Wyvernheart and other Ranged Weapon Questions /u/Head-Cut7112 Monster Hunter: World

I was looking at some people talking about it but it is usually over 4 years ago. I am just wondering how people feel about these. I am usually a IG user when I am alone but in MP I have been switching to Bowguns to not get in the way too bad since my other 3 friends play melee weapons.

With Wilds coming out and the way the multiplayer actually looks that you can play with your friends from the beginning I may be making the switch to mostly ranged with probably IG or a new melee weapon(havent decided yet everything looks so cool to play I just wish I was better at Greatsword(any tips on this too helps)) on backup if I am playing alone. This is also amplified by being able to carry two weapons out into the field to switch on mount.

I do not know if Snipe is in Wilds but I was just wondering how people feel about sniper vs heart, both have great fantasies and I am wondering people opinions. Also advice for any of the ranged weapons would be great as I am just starting and I do not know which one I will end up picking

I know its another long post from me but thank you for everyone that helps me out as me and my friends are new to monster hunter in general

Are event tickets random? /u/DaddyS44 Monster Hunter: World

I’m pretty new to MHW and there’s a new event in Seliana which gives some cool arnor. You just need VIP joy tickets or something like that. One way they say you can get it is by doing low rank helper, which I assume you need to help people that are 0 in master rank. Done that a few times, got 4 of these tickets and then nothing. Did like another 10 quests with randoms and I got none. So are they supposed to drop always or do they have a drop rate? Cheers
