I can’t find anything that lists what event quests drop joyful tickets. I know all the event quests are available. I have done flora frostbite a ton and only get wyverian tickets. Are tickets random or are they tied to specific quests? What quests are best for joyful tickets?

Trying to get into World after Rise /u/Denzzil_Mushroom Monster Hunter: World

Trying to get into World after Rise /u/Denzzil_Mushroom Monster Hunter: World

I’m not a hardcore player and finished the base Rise game this year. After all hype for Wilds I wanted to try World first and oh my god monsters wrecking my ass. After updates to my gear, I don’t die in 3 hits now, but I can’t manage to land my hits properly. Currently, my quest is for Diablos and I managed to get so far just because of these defender weapons which are OP.

So my go-to weapons are SnS and IG in Rise. I couldn’t find any other melee weapons that fit me well. I’ve tried some range weapons and had a success with HBG, but SNS was much easier so I didn’t play a lot. Now in the World, I can’t think of any melee weapon at all. SNS is much slower, IG Arial attacks are weak and no duo buffs gathering. On LBG I feel fairly comfortable, I wish it had more damage, HBG feels good with the shield and I feel powerful again. I’m currently switching between SNS, IG, and HBG.

Well, any tips for someone who is switching from Rise to World? Which weapon would you recommend from my list? Also I can’t find guides for campaign builds with progression, only for end-game builds. Are there any trustworthy ones?

Having a hard time with iceborne /u/Professional-Bet3484 Monster Hunter: World

Personally feeling frustrated and Ill rewarded at this point.

Just beat barioth after a couple time outs, and now have narcacuga, glavenus and a optional legiana to face.

I don’t feel I have gear that’s adequate but trying to actually get better gear is a massive uphill battle I’m in full MR jagras set (I got it at the beginning for the q.o.l. benefits and ease of acquisition). I’m a sns or hbg main, right now I have the chrome knight sword 1 and for hbg the gluttonous fangcannon.

I thought to go for the legiana and get it’s gear as I have faced it before and I do NOT want to face barioth again. Just had another time out. Idk how to get enough dps to do this, I’m tenderizing, wall banging, everything.

In the Repel quest, I tried to learn some of its moves, but I couldn’t get the hang of it because I was so focused on Dragonazer. That’s why, for the Slay quest, I have to maintain that sweet distance. Its Tackle is the most annoying move, and it’s the one I can’t seem to dodge because I was panicking, which led to me being carted in the last 5 minutes. In the final 10 minutes, I equipped the Ghillie Mantle+, but forgot to bring Barrel Bombs 🙂. Then, in the last 5 minutes, I restocked, but still forgot the bombs 🤧.
