Obviously, I need to install the base EBB for the mods to work, but I get confused about how to apply them to specific armors. If I download them, will all of them try to apply to the EBB armor only, or is each set separate from each other, and basically only use EBB as a baseline?

started playing some months ago and never paid attention to the stats or optimal armors, and now i can barely fight some of the high rank monsters elder dragons etc. /u/Regular-Bread4254 Monster Hunter: World

I’m looking for help with a longsword build I can use to get through the rest of the main story. I just beat blackveil vaal hazak and I’m MR 20. I’m not really sure what longsword I should go for, or what armor I should use. So it just happened, 300 hours in, grinding to fight fatalis, I go to bed, launch World, no save data. I contact Microsoft support, they escalate my case two time (currently with back office praying to whatever god is out there), so far nothing can be done.
All in all, I’m pretty annoyed by the situation, I really like MH but I don’t know if I’ll have the strength to grind back everything.
