Feeling weird with the Charged Blade /u/Tumbaflai Monster Hunter: World
So context first, I recently finished Iceborne’s campaign for the first time. During low and high rank, I mostly used IG and hammer, at the start of iceborne I switched completely to LS, and at some point I decided to choose a 2nd weapon and went for CB.
From my experience, it was easy to learn, difficult to master, as I’m used to much faster movesets, but the weird thing is, I feel that hunts are kinda easy with it, but the gameplay doesn’t feel satisfying.
For example, let’s say I’m hunting a barioth, I take too many hits, spend most of my healing, can’t hit a single guard point or SAED, mentally I’m like “this hunt has been horrible, I’ll probably cart or take too much time” and then out of a sudden, barioth starts limping. So I take the win but I still feel that I played like shit.
Has anyone had a similar experience with CB or any other weapon? Am I using it wrong or is just not the weapon for me?
