Need some clarification on Alatreon topple /u/Krewshie Monster Hunter: World
So I recently started progressing on Alatreon and need some clarification. (Blazing Black Twilight)
I topple him for the first time, but after he gets up and uses Escaton a few minutes later, the handler pops up and says something like “Ice weapons won’t work on him”. Does that mean that I can’t topple him with Ice damage anymore after he shifts into that element? If so, how am I supposed to switch weapons to a different type? I cant farcaster back and weapon swap. The only way to weapon swap is to die.
Also, whoever made this fight is an absolute asshole for making you start right in front of his face instead of at basecamp.
