Do people not prioritize wake-up hits anymore? /u/Interstellar-Cookie Monster Hunter: World

I’ve been playing the game again after a long break (stopped not long after after Iceborn came out, never beat Iceborn), and I’ve now been in MR for a good minute now. I’ve noticed almost no one gives a darn about the monster sleeping anymore, definitely not as much as they used to.

If the monster falls asleep mid fight, everyone just keeps attack with zero hesitation. On the rare chance they do stop, they just heal, sharpen, and start attacking without considering who attacks with what move to wake it up.

On numerous occasions I’ve seen people follow an ED to its nest when it’s asleep and IMMEDIATELY start attacking before everyone is even there.

I even had someone troll me by waking the monster up with a light tap a split second before my TCS hit.

It’s kinda driving me nuts because there used to be a sort of etiquette regarding wake-ups. Is it just me? Do I just need to change with the times?

I love CB /u/ypperlig__ Monster Hunter: World

After nearly 1200h playing only LS, I’ve discovered how CB is actually so cool to play. I wish I’d have forced myself to try other weapons sooner

Dear hammer users /u/PizzaSleeper Monster Hunter: World

I’m sorry for always tripping you up, and throwing you into the air.

I never meant to hurt you or ruin your combo.

We both focus the head, yet I’m always the one ruining your roll.

Please take a sad sticker and a heart sticker and call it even.

Sincerely, a Charge Blade user.
