Deviljho Dual Blades any good? /u/glmonster229 Monster Hunter: World

I’m about to start Iceborne for the very first time, and I have a fully upgraded Deviljho Hammer, but I was wondering if I should also build the Deviljho Dual Blades since I basically main both and just switch between them when I get bored or feel like a mob requires something different from me.

So, I was curious about if the Deviljho Dual Blades are any good. Currently have got full Nergigante armour and that hammer, Tobi DB, and wanting to add one of each element + Deviljho to my DB repertoire.

In honor of the game turning 7 I thought I’d share my list of the monsters I’ve had the pleasure of fighting on my short yet enjoyable journey with the game so far as we wait for wilds to come out.

Also for the categories I’ve split them up into since it might be a tad bit blurry it goes as this:

Peak Fight

Fantastic but slight criticisms

Good/Fun fights overall

Best boy

I kinda like you but not enough to fight consistently

I’d rather not fight yall

Annoying Af/ Why would I bother

Just no…..

Haven’t fully reached/fought them yet unfortunately(ruiner Nergi is only down here cuz I haven’t fought against him outside of the Shara fight)

How do I beat Fatalis before Wilds release? /u/PhilmoXVI Monster Hunter: World

Hi, I beat Shara Ishvalda yesterday. Now I really want to “beat” World before Wilds comes out. For me thats killing Fatalis solo. I’m kinda confused with the guiding lands etc. What’s the fastest way to progress to Fatalis, without “wasting” my time on optional things that won’t help me beat him?

For my understanding I should play through the guiding lands (but idk until when, and how to do it efficiently), and then complete the special assignments with Rajang, Raging Brachy etc.

I play SnS. Do you have recommendations for builds I should use throughout the rest of my journey? I just used some random progression guide I found on google until now
