Custom Jeans /u/PuzzleheadedGuest289 /r/malefashionadvice

Does anyone know where I can get jeans custom made but also dropshipped? I work full time and wanted to take up sewing but it seems like a lot of time, money, and energy invested. I have my own small streetwear business but it seems impossible to find a company that will make custom jeans. Anyone know where to turn?

Tommy John sleepwear alternative /u/Mysterious-Team-3 /r/malefashionadvice

I love Tommy John second skin pajamas but they are a tad bit expensive. My brothers please suggest a suitable alternative. I like lightweight pants style (like second skin) with an elastic waistband (like TJ’s).

How do you dress more like an adult when you’re a small guy? /u/RVtheguy /r/malefashionadvice

How do you dress more like an adult when you’re a small guy? /u/RVtheguy /r/malefashionadvice

I’m a 20 year old college student, so I am on a tight budget. I am only 5’5” (165 cm) and 118 lbs (53.6 kg). A lot of what I have as a result is made for kids so I’m not drowning in it. Doesn’t help that I look young too. Like I look maybe 14 or 15 to strangers, sometimes younger. What is good for casual everyday wear that looks more adult-like?

How do I shrink an elastic band waist on pjs? /u/FourTwenty__ /r/malefashionadvice

How do I shrink an elastic band waist on pjs? /u/FourTwenty__ /r/malefashionadvice

My pj’s I bought are too big on me 🙁

Is there any way I can shrink the elastic waistband down a couple inches so it fits tight on my waist? Also is there any way I can shrink the pants a bit as a whole? It’s like 60% cotton 40% polyester if that matters.

These are the pants I got if that helps https://www.calvinklein.ca/en/underwear/men/sleepwear/modern-cotton-holiday-lounge-pants/64202840-610.html?journey=Folder_0000102

Best choice of leather shoe past the bare minimum /u/FreqTrade /r/malefashionadvice

Best choice of leather shoe past the bare minimum /u/FreqTrade /r/malefashionadvice

As far as leather shoes go, I own brown Chelseas and black slip-ons. I live in Chicago, so I’m not concerned with something being too heavy. My thoughts were to expand to a boot/shoe with a more polished/preppy look than the Chelsea (say Chukka/Oxford/Derby) but with more substance than a slip-on.

If height is a factor – I’m 5’4, so preferably not something that would make me look even shorter.

Professionally/socially, I’m in grad school (but on the older end at 31) so there’s no dress code, but the people whose company I best enjoy tend to be young professionals who code as normie but like fancy restaurants and cocktail bars, so something that works well in that cohort would be good.

What has worked best for you, and what would be the best colour to go with? I’m somewhat flexible with my budget, but suggestions on the affordable side would be appreciated.

Where can I find menswear inspiration? /u/jonkrantz18 /r/malefashionadvice

I tend to like peacoat and leather jackets over puffer jackets and the like. I am wondering how people find brands they like and outfits to try beyond just doing fast fashion and buying stuff with crappy quality. I also want to learn more about the history and the industry so if anyone knows any good books I would be interested
