Cathy in light of new superfans? /u/roygbivboyploy People Person’s Paper People

I searched the sub and am so surprised no one has talked about the Cathy and Jim dynamic after the sueprfan release of season 8! Spoilers-ish below if you haven’t watched the superfan edits:

I feel like with the deleted scenes and in context it is very clear that there was never anything going on there! Yet I have seen so many arguments of how inappropriate Jim acted over the years (especially for the Tallahassee bits). He literally tells pam that she (cathy) won’t leave his room and she makes fun of the situation. I can see why they edited out this plotline but at the same time why?? Lol

I know that those with the DVDs already know this, but can we please absolve Jim of the naysaying and admit that the network just wanted there to be drama between Jim and Pam to add zest?

It’s annoying but likely true – and now I really want to see the superfan for season 9 to see the boom mic guy plotline again, since it was included for a similar reason

Would love some discourse on this in here and want to see others’ opinions!! Let’s dish, friends

Sad truth about “Goodbye, Michael” /u/High4zFck People Person’s Paper People

Have you ever felt that the tears in this episode weren’t staged? well, you were right, because Steve actually wanted to stay but NBC didn’t make him another offer so he had no other choice – he describes the shooting of that episode as emotional torture, and I can feel him there… you can find the whole story in the article

and thanks to Brian for doing the podcast with him!

Birthday video

Hey guys i need your help please! My sister is a BIG fan of the office and she LOVES michael he’s her favorite so it’s her birthday and i wanted to send her a video of michael singing happy birthday but all i could find is two videos, one is him singing to creed (which i was intending on sending this one but I didnt like that he said creed) and the second one is him calling jan to tell her it’s his birthday (the one linked) which is funny and thought she might like it more since it shows michael’a personality. What do you think guys? Thanks!
