Arpscan slow on Darwin /u/Technical_Shelter621 Python Education

Hello pythonistas,

It has been a while that I started to use pyside to build an arp scanner to monitor iot devices directly connected to the lan. I initially started to develop on Ubuntu Linux, but than I thought I would want the tool to support multiple platforms hence I added for now support for Darwin too. Although it runs correctly on both I noticed that on Mac is a lot slower to complete a scan and presente data. So far I am using Qthread (which is part of pyside6) – looking for help to improve performance, any tips would be very welcomed!!! Also feel free to start a git conversation or something 🙂 thanks in advance. Here the repo: https://github.com/CyberRoute/phantom

What are your favorite Podcasts about Android? /u/Dell_fan1 Android

Looking for some Android podcast recommendations. I listen to these right now, 1) Android Police – love it 2) Pixelated by 9 to 5 Google – only listened to a few episodes but like the rebranding/relaunch 3) Android faithful – don’t like it much, it feels like all the hosts have been forced to sit together. 4) Mobile tech podcast – not exclusively Android but diacuss a wide range of Hardware especially Chinese phones

My absolute favorite was the Droid-life podcast, but they stopped doing that, and now don’t even do YouTube. I don’t believe Android Central has a podcast anymore.

Anyway, I would like to know your recommendations/suggestions. Thank you

Is it possible to make a curved cylinder? (VPython on Glowscript) /u/Admirable_Translator Python Education

I am just learning how to code, and while I know how to do projectiles and make shapes, I am not sure where to even begin making it curve. What functions would I use?

Help with text-based game /u/Shot_Status2339 Python Education

I am trying to make a text based game as a starter project. Right now i got all the input and output via the terminal, but i dont know if i want to keep it like that. Is there any way that i can just transfer the output of the terminal to some kind of window, so it feels like a game more?
