Christmas Day – In-Game Gatherings /u/JagexSween Old School RuneScape!

​r/2007scape Merry Christmas! I love Christmas but I know this time of year isn’t for everybody and a lot of people can feel lonely, so I’d love to see as many of you there as possible if you don’t mind a bit of XP waste. Last year I posted and hosted a couple of in-game gatherings, and I want to do the same again this year. I won’t lie, it really helped me. I didn’t really ‘do’ Christmas properly last year, I spent the morning in hospital visiting a family member and then went home alone. Spending a bit of the day with you lot in-game did the world of good for my mood. This year, I’m fortunate enough to have a few plans (and a fair amount of driving around to do!) but very eager to make sure we can spend time together too. Exact itinerary (where/worlds etc) to probably follow at some point before Christmas Day itself but I intend to host stuff at: 10am GMT 5pm GMT 10pm GMT Hopefully those timings will mean any timezones can take part! We’ll do the usual holiday item spawns, transmogging into different NPCs, maybe a little walkaround to spread joy, and a few minigames together. Made my first mil yesterday /u/Simpingfroppai Old School RuneScape!

​r/2007scape I’ve never played any mmos before, but youtube algorithm and moistcritical’s old videos led me to this, ngl it was extremely overwhelming at first even with the help of wiki, used to get lost on doing so many things.. “while doing a quest oh i don’t have this, ok so let’s craft it.. oh shit i don’t have the right level, can’t buy it cuz I’m broke” lmao anyway players were super helpful, one guy saw me doing that quest where you need to talk to a ghost, asked me if i was new and gave me 20k coins, 2k arrows and a staff of fire that i still use, thanks to that guy. so after 5 days I’ve finally made 1 mil, well 1.6 mil tbh, I have seen people making millions in a day but idk it took me 5 days, haha whatever I’m happy with it and the game is so freaking fun.
