When I started dating my boyfriend he was still a virgin – we’ve now been together for over a year. Sex started fairly slowly and I had to be super patient with him with everything – I’ve been sexually active since I was 18 (we are both 25). I have mentioned to him that I would really like it if he went down on me. He wasn’t fan of the idea but said he’d try it eventually (he slightly tasted it and that’s all).. A few weeks ago he told me he really cannot get himself to do it as he can’t get over how weird the taste is and he refuses. I have a good diet and my previous boyfriends were all very happy to go down on me without any problem, so it’s not the fact that the taste is so bad.. I guess it’s just a new taste for him.
So my question is to people with similar experiences.. what happened? Did you ever get over your discomfort about it? Did it break your relationship up? I do not want to force him to do anything he doesn’t want to but I also would like my pleasure to be taken into account. Our relationship otherwise is very healthy and happy.
