My doctor called me today to inform me with the external vaginal test results.I took it thinking I just had thrush as my vagina has been extremely dry and I haven’t been able to have sex with my partner, I’ve also had crusty discharge, but besides that no other symptoms that I know of.When she told me over the phone I was quite shocked.She said that it was very unusual that I had all 3 and I’m wondering how I managed to get it.I would say I’m a fairly hygienic person so I’m not sure what caused it.She now wants me to take a blood test and a urine test to check for stds, although I took one 2 months ago and everything came back negative she wants to take another one ‘just in case.’ I’m very anxious about the infections and not sure what to do or what caused it.I’m going to see my doctor on Wednesday but was hoping for some advice on how I got it and what to do, should I be worried?
