Pairing dress-casual shoes correctly /u/avidcamperandhiker /r/malefashionadvice

Hi,

I am interested in picking up a pair of “dress casual” shoes such as Clarks Monahan (linked at bottom), likely in the blue or tan. I’m not a great dresser so figured I would ask here – how “dressy” of a look would these shoes be appropriate for? For example, I can see myself wearing these with a button-down shirt and nice slacks, but would they work with a suit & tie? Or would the multiple colors and white bottoms be considered too informal?

FWIW, not wedded to this specific set of shoes but am more curious about how far they will take me on a casual-dressy spectrum.

Thanks for the advice!
