Good brands/shirts for a shorter but muscular guy? /u/sed1981_ /r/malefashionadvice

So I’m like 5’7 and 195 lbs. Muscular, not fat. I have about a 48 inch chest. The problem is finding stuff that doesn’t look stupid on me! As you can imagine, I’m about a medium in length but an XL in girth — so when I buy shirts, even like Van Heusen’s “Never Tuck,” the XL fits well but is like a damn dress. Banana Republic slim polos in XL work well; not too long and perfect in arms/chest.

Any ideas? I’m sick of buying things that either are too tight and make it look like I’m trying to show off or too long, which looks awful. I’d be open to trying one of those service boxes too if they’d accommodate.
