I have a background in building hobby WordPress sites. Some are pretty complex with Advance Custom Fields and others have hundreds of pages. The sites look good, run fast and the WordPress eco-system really makes sense to me. I really enjoy it for the most part.
I have attempted to learn Python twice in the past ten years. The second time I got further than the first but it’s still disheartening. I have webapp ideas that vary from simple to complex that I would love to get online and use and toy around with, however, the learning barriers always crush me. First I need to learn Python, and then I need to learn Django, and then don’t forget about Sql…etc
I have a full time job (or two, it seems) and I just don’t have the time to really sit down and figure this stuff all out. Is there any framework or WYSIWG set up that can significantly cut down on time to get a project up and running? Or for me to make these projects a reality do I need to buckle down and learn everything from A to Z? Kind of a rant, I’m just frustrated.
