Will I lose Micah’s chapter 1 revolver if I pick up the Schofield from the doctor side business? /u/Capable-Disk-2398 Red Dead Redemption

I got Micah’s revolver in chapter 1 with the exploit cause it’s my favourite gun (yes ik the double actions are the most hated, but i like the somewhat basic but unique design). I want to do the doctor side business robbery and pick the schofield up just to have since it’s free, but I’m at the point where I still don’t have the off hand holster, so if I drop Micah’s revolver to pick up the Schofield, will it still be on my horse? I’ve heard where it gets removed when triggered by something, so just hoping it doesn’t.
