Feeling lost… post grad dilemma and possibly my career in limbo /u/WhereAreMyKeys15 CSCQ protests reddit

Hi everyone,

I’ve been feeling really lost lately and could use some advice. I’m 6 YOE currently unemployed for 6+months. I’ve been having a tough time getting callbacks and also I’ve been thinking about going for post grad and moving to a different country, but I’ve got 6 months before the next intake starts.

Right now I’m stuck between either deferring my plan for a year, finding a job, and making the most out of this time OR not working, waiting for post grad, and focusing on prep or personal projects in the meantime.

Another big question: What course should I choose for post grad? I have interests but am unsure about the best fit, and honestly, the whole thing feels overwhelming.

All in all, I don’t know what has been going wrong for me interviews wise and I don’t know how to deal with everything going on. I don’t know if I messed up somewhere or if the market’s just bad… it just feels like a lot to deal with. If anyone’s been in a similar situation or has some wisdom/advice to share, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks a lot!
