DMs, do you ever get bored of your campaign? /u/FoulOutlander42 DnD: Roll for Initiative!

I’m running a Morrowind campaign! I absolutely love Morrowind, all its wild lore! But its a long, slow journey. We’ve been playing for 16 Months now, and they’re Level 8, when they’ll be 20th Level by the time the campaign ends. I plan on speeding things up, and we’ve been able to play more consistently, but it still could go on another two years or so! We’re finally getting to the point where the players are able to make some big decisions, and they get to choose how they want to fulfill the prophecy! Which I’ve been really looking forward to! And I love making all the cool Elder Scrolls items they’re obtaining now! But recently, I’ve just been getting kinda bored. Like I want to skip ahead or fly through stuff and get it over with? I think my players are enjoying it, but they’ve also mentioned how much longer it’s going to take. Maybe I’m just feeling impatient now that we’re getting to the good stuff? Morrowind is heavily inspired by Dune, which moves at a slow pace too. Do any other DMs ever feel this way?
