I keep seeing that the review on Steam have hit a negative rating etc etc, but I think if you’re going to do that and tank the reviews, you need to be doing it on Apple App Store and Googles Play store. That’s most likely where new players are going to come from.
Warn the new players that majority of the game is already behind a stupidly expensive paywall before they start messing with ADs and other rubbish. The Apple reviews tanking will hurt them as they won’t want to disappear from that store.
