No refractory period experience? /u/ElfishEmperor Sex

This is something I struggle with my body and I absolutely hate that. After orgasm my arousal takes a massive dip, a nose dive to the floor. There is no overwhelming sensitivity in my genital area, but it becomes unresponsive. Going after another orgasm feels like a chore, with my arousal making spontaneous dips, so not only everything becomes less sensitive, my body is actively fighting any further stimulation.

Sometimes I think about having no refractory period and how it must be felt. How does it feel for arousal to remain high and stimulation still being pleasurable. How it opens doors for much more fluidity and intensity.

But how common is it? Sometimes I think I may be romanticising it, meanwhile it’s neither common nor does it happen every time, but it’s rare even for those who don’t have one. And what are your thoughts regarding it?
