What are some low-key cool brands similar to ALD, Noah, APC, etc. that a 40-year-old can wear without being appearing too “try hard”? /u/BigOlYams /r/malefashionadvice

I work in a creative field that’s fairly image conscious and pretty ageist. I’m 40-years-old but most people think I’m around 34-35 and it honestly behooves me to appear as if I’m in my 30s for as long as possible.

I’m looking to find some brands that are cool but not too “try hard” (i.e. no Supreme-style streetwear). Bonus points if they’re a bit unknown/under-the-radar.
