I currently earn 6 figures at my job as a front end dev. I want to switch more into full stack dev but my current team doesn’t want me to. We have back end devs on my team. I’m thinking of either going into back end devs or should I completely switch from web dev into computer graphics programming. I don’t really want to write crud apps all day. I’ve been working at my job for 3 years already and I feel stagnated in my career. Should I go back to school for a PhD in computer graphics or should I do switch to computer graphics job? Or should I switch to back end dev? I do not really enjoy crud apps. What should I do?
