Can your libido come back after lexapro? /u/Majestic_Class8604 Sex

My partner used to take lexapro, but stopped a year ago. He told me he used to have a libido before lexapro, but now it is completely gone. It hasn’t come back. He said that he has gotten horny around me before, but he never felt a desire for sex. Has anyone experienced that before? How does that work?

We tried to have sex a couple times, but it felt really robotic because he has no desire for sex. He was also SUPER anxious so it wasn’t fun for either of us. I don’t really get horny so it’s not a huge issue for me, but I definitely miss feeling desired in that way. I was wondering if anyone had a similar experience because I really want to be with him, but I don’t think I can handle an entirely sexless relationship. I want to do anything to make it work.
