Hello everyone,
As you may have started to notice, we have updated the post flairs (the little tag added to posts).
Here is the new list:
- Builds & Maps (old “build”)
- Redstone & Techs (old “Redstone”)
- Commands & Datapacks (old “CommandBlock”)
- Resource pack (new)
- Mods & Addons (old “mods and datapack”)
- Suggestion (new)
- Guides & Tutorials (old “tutorial”)
- Seeds & World Gen (old “maps”)
- Fan Work (old “art”)
- Help
- Discussion
- Meta/Reddit (new)
On top of this, we also have some flairs “ready to use”, like one for “A Minecraft Movie” that will be made available soon to everyone.
The following flairs have disappeared:
- Creative: The posts that used this flair were most of the time fitting into “Builds & Maps”
- Letsplay: It was use by default for all links to youtube. Those can fall into multiple categories already present.
To see how bad or how good the new flairs are, I also enforced a setting to force users to apply a post flair when posting on the subreddit. For the moment this is temporary.
Feel free to leave your feedback about this change. This was something that some of us wanted to do for a long time…
PS: Old.reddit users, there may be broken links here and there… It will be fixed soon. 😉
