I’m job-hunting right now every single job I’ve seen falls under 3 categories: insurance, healthcare, and payment processing.

I’ve been in IT for almost 20 years. I feel like my problem solving ability is totally squandered on incredibly stupid problems like wrapping an overly complex database with an Angular/React/Vue user interface.

Every forms-over-data app is exactly the same. Every external API integration is exactly the same. Every billing system is exactly the same.

I’m so burned out solving the same stupid problem over and over and over. I don’t even know what I want to do, but anything that’s not insurance, healthcae, or fintech anymore.

What are my options? If it helps at all, my entire career has been in C#/.NET. I can program in any other language, but C# is my specialization.
