For DMs New With the 2024 Edition /u/Reynard203 DnD: Roll for Initiative!

As an aged GenX gamer who has been GMing for a very long time, it is hard for me to make an honest unbiased assessment of a new DMG.

So, I am hoping to get the opinions of folks who literally just decided to get behidn the screen with the 2024 edition of the D&D. I am most curious about how you feel about the DMG, specifically in how it supports you in learning how to DM or DM better.

Do you liek the book? Do you think it is useful at the table? Are there things you wish it told you that it doesn’t, or material you feel is wasted and the pages could have been used better on something else?
