Maybe it’s me, but it seems like games in my new releases queue are simplistic garbage. It’s like either pixel art, 2d 80’s shooters, or unity engine asset flips. The reviews are non-existent or are mostly positive or below.
Most good looking new releases that I follow turn out to be mostly positive or below.
What has happened to the game development industry? Cost too much to make a game and market it?
Crazy thing is that there are free games I’ve run into like beyond all reason which should be paid and are a pretty highly polished produc.t
Wondering what people’s thoughts and observations are about the industry.
