So excuse the silly question but I’m pretty much a beginner in these things and recently bought a couple of different sizes and brands of condoms to try out, as i might soon have sex with my new gf.
The thing is, i know its about girth and i’ve measured it at the widest part and it’s between 11,5cm and 12cm depending on how tight i wrap the measure.
To my knowledge thats about average, so i bought regular condoms between 52mm and 56mm in nominal width. And while especially the 56mms felt a little loose around the tip (i have a bit of a cone shape, if that makes sense), none of the condoms were particularly easy to pull off if i pulled on their Tips. Like, sure, i managed to do it, but it was highly uncomfortable and took quite a bit of force. Loosing them during sex doesnt seem like it would likely happen.
The thing is, all of them had wrinkles along the circumference of my member, even though there was no danger of spillage with any of them as the base sat snugly. Also the condoms did move around with my skin, but they didn’t slide over the skin, if that makes sense.
Anyways, a thing that makes this even worse is I’m not circumcised. Obviously as my skin moves, so does the latex and wrinkles up near the tip even more.
Also i have the suspicion that my upward curve might be to blame, as when i first unroll the condom, the creases are only at the upper side, the lower side is smooth.
So my question is: do condoms have to be completely smooth all over or are some wrinkles to be expected? Are they a problem or can I just ignore this.
I’ve already orderd a test Pack of 49mm condoms, but honestly, with the 52s, the ring at the base already was a little tight. And to be completely honest, I’m already pretty insecure about my girth and having to buy slim fits would be kind of a blow to my ego.
