Transition advice /u/Maleficent-Move-145 Python Education

I’m a data analyst with experience in Pandas, PySpark, and some plotting libraries. I want to transition into software development and learn to write production-grade code, like what’s used in the Pandas package. What are the best resources to help me fill this gap? Should I focus on learning design patterns or something else? I’m not sure where to start.
