How to layer in the winter with a jacket that is short? /u/FullRakePoker /r/malefashionadvice

Hello. I like to wear a B3 shearling jacket when it gets cold around here.

These jacket are very short or high waisted? Pardon my English.

Now sometimes it gets really cold and I have to layer under it.

Pretty much anything that is not tucked in my pants will show under the jacket.

I am not sure what to do when I layer with a thick flanel or sweater that I won’t tuck in.

If I don’t roll up the bottom of those inner layers, how bad does it look if let’s say, you can see about 4 inch of flanel at the bottom of the jacket? Is it bad ?
