Ok I’ll be honest. and TL:DR at the end. I’ve worked almost 90 hours this week and havent gotten to prep for the session starting in 2 hours. my players are on the last round of a championship for a city and it is a “you win or you die” kind of championship that I tried to give them all the gentle DM warning signs not to sign up for. From one miracle to another nat 20, here they are at the finale and theyve lived (barely) thus far.
But I have 0 inspiration and creative juices. I am exhausted but I’m also excited to play with them tonight so dont want to cancel. death is not off the table (in fact they are kind of expecting it). They are a party of 4 level 10s and i want something challenging… truly challenging. They killed a dragon in round 4 (divine intervention. rolled a D100 and got a 100. Like I said. Miracle after Miracle).
TL:DR need a fun monster for my 4 player lvl 10 party to fight that offers a true challenge
Any fun ideas?
