In the old days, I always had football manager open on my laptop, while either playing Path of Exile on my stationary, or World of Warcraft, now POE I had through steam pretty much since it left beta, but I know I also played other games like civilization and crusader kings on my main computer, while having FM running on my laptop, because it was simply easier than moving the save game around every night and afternoon after school, but I just tried twice this week, having my work laptop on the sofa, with FM running and sitting down at the computer, both times having to go shut off FM to be allowed to open a game, at first I thought maybe only 1 game is able to open now, but no, I can have multiple games open on one computer, but not two like I used to.
Particularly Crusader Kings and FM compliment each other as both has natural breaks/downtimes, where I could look at the other, ofc. I can give up using my laptop at home, and simply buy a 3rd monitor again and have both on the main computer, but then I lose the ability to watch a movie and play FM on the laptop while chilling on the sofa.
So my question is, when was this changed, or is there a setting or something I am not aware of that could make this possible still? Rather use two computers that already work fine, than having to invest in more clutter for my desk.
