hello guys! I am new to programming so sorry if this is a dumb question haha. I was installing the newest version of python onto my laptop and both times I tried to do this, it said the install was successful, but then when I type “py” into the command prompt I keep getting the message “fatal python error: failed to import encodings module”. I’ve tried uninstalling and then reinstalling python but the same message came up again.
I was wondering how I would go about solving this issue. any advice is appreciated!
