pip and python commands not defined or recognized /u/crisp_0 Python Education

i added the directory paths for pip and python to the environment variables and wanting to use it in my command but whenever i use python –version or, pip –version it says (‘python’ is not recognized as an internal or external command,

operable program or batch file.) but when i type the directory of the file then type — version it works , how do i make it just python or pip ? ?.
