Help me find a suit that kicks ass /u/MindTheGAAP /r/malefashionadvice

MFA,

I am in a visible role in a professional services firm and I have historically gone with what I find on sale at the likes of J. Crew for suits. I have a couple from (charcoal, navy) there in the Ludlow cut in Abraham Moon fabric but I have buried both my parents in the charcoal one and the look is fine but not outstanding/ spectacular IMO.

All of that preamble done, I’m wanting to get a killer suit. I don’t think I’m ready to go full investment into a Tom Ford, etc but one that just makes you feel invincible when you put it on. I’m guessing Suit Supply would be a good option but figured I’d see if anyone recommended the likes of a Kent Wang or Sid Mashburn, or similar?

Based in Dallas, TX, am 6’3” but long torso so only a 32.5” inseam on the bottoms. Fairly trim at ~190 and losing a little weight at the moment thanks to reinvigorating my peloton addiction.

Welcome any ideas or suggestions. Had a S&M suit previously but gained 20lbs and it is beyond snug.
